Another weekend of Premier League matches is behind us, although Matchweek 10 has not yet ended due to Monday's game between Sunderland and Everton.
However, nine other matches are in the books, and thus we can take a look back at a number of the emerging narratives.
Here are some of the bigger talking points from Matchweek 10 (minus Monday's match).
Liverpool were in must-win mode this weekend after a disastrous run of games saw the team lose four straight in the league and six of their last seven matches in all competitions.
In the blink of an eye, Arne Slot's men went from invincible to extremely beatable, and they lost their grip on first place and proceeded to slip down the standings.
It got to a point where former players were saying that every game for the rest of the season should be considered a must-win if the Reds wanted to keep their waning Premier League title hopes alive.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Saturday's match brought Liverpool head-to-head with Aston Villa, the team that seemed to switch positions with the Reds after a terrible start to the campaign. Villa entered the weekend with four straight Premier League wins and were winners of six in seven, providing a perfect mirror image for Slot's side and presenting a terrifying challenge.
However, the Reds were up to the task and looked like their old dominant selves again as they claimed a 2-0 win at Anfield in a game that looked like it was never going to go any other way. It was exactly what Liverpool needed at this crucial juncture, but now Slot and Co. must prove that this was more than a one-off.

If LIverpool's performance this weekend was a surprise, Wolverhampton's was not.
The beleaguered club lost again, 3-0 to Fulham, keeping them firmly rooted to the bottom of the standings and still without a win in the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Calls for Vitor Pereira's job grew louder with each loss, and Saturday's lifeless outing was the last straw for team owenership as they handed Pereira and his full backroom staff their walking papers a day later.
âVitor and his team worked tirelessly for Wolves and helped guide us through a challenging period last season, for which we are grateful," a statement from Wolves' executive chairman Jeff Shi read.
âUnfortunately, the start to this season has been a disappointment and, despite our strong desire to give the head coach time and matches to find an improvement, we have reached a point where we must make a change.
âWe thank Vitor and his staff for their efforts and wish them the very best for the future.â
Pereira joins Nuno Espirito Santo, Graham Potter and Ange Postecoglou (twice) as Premier League managers who have been sacked this season.
It's becoming tougher to describe Arsenal's stellar campaign each week, as the Gunners continue to stick by their priniciples and churn out results.
The North Londoners have now won six Premier League matches in a row and have not allowed a goal in their last seven games across all competitions. They looked extremely comfortable against Burnley on Saturday, ending the Clarets' modest winning streak.
It feels as though Arsenal will never give up another goal this season, and while that's obviously not going to happen, it is very intriguing to see how many games Mikel Arteta's side can stretch this clean sheet streak to.
Whatever the number is, it's fair to say that the Gunners' defence is among the best in the world, and it could be the thing that finally pushes the team to a first league title in over 20 years.
