RB Leipzig vs. Manchester City: Preview, date, time, live stream and how to watch Champions League match
The top two teams in Group G of the Champions League clash Wednesday as RB Leipzig welcome Manchester City to the Red Bull Arena.
Both sides were victorious on the first matchday, with identical 3-1 wins (Leipzig over Young Boys and City over Red Star). They entered the competition as favourites to advance from the group, and with things going according to plan in the early stages Wednesday's match could have huge implications on who wins Group G.
Leipzig are unbeaten in seven games across all competitions, most recently battling to a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. The Red Bulls now face a City side coming off back-to-back losses, an unfamiliar feeling for the Sky Blues but one that can be erased with a good performance in this match.
“The Newcastle game we lost it hurt yeah, Wolves yeah it hurt, the Premier League is so tough, but we have to move forward prepare the game like RB Leipzig then go away in London against Arsenal," City boss Pep Guardiola said.
