The top five new faces to watch in Serie A

Excitement is building ahead of the new Serie A season after some lavish summer recruitment throughout the league.

Here, DAZN News picks out five key signings in Italy’s top flight ahead the 2025-26 campaign.

Ciro Immobile (Bologna)

The legendary and much-travelled former Lazio striker, 35, has joined Bologna after spending last season at Besiktas, where he scored 15 goals in 30 appearances.

The Rossoblu ended a 51-year trophy drought last season after winning the Coppa Italia and they will now compete in the Europa League.

Martin Baturina (Como)

Universally regarded as one of the brightest young talents in European football, the Croatian midfielder boasts an impressive pedigree.

Baturina, 22, joined Cesc Fabregas’ side this summer from Dinamo Zagreb and is noted for his outstanding technical ability.

Petar Sucic (Inter Milan)

The Croatian international arrived from Dinamo Zagreb this summer with a burgeoning reputation.

The Nerazzurri are said to see Sucic as a potential long-term heir to Hakan Calhanoglu at the base of midfield.

Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli)

The Belgian midfielder left Manchester City this summer after 10 years at the club, winning 19 major trophies after joining from Wolfsburg in 2015.

He will now play in the Champions League with Napoli, who Antonio Conte guided to the Serie A title last season.

Wesley Franca (Roma)

The Brazil right-back signed a five-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico after arriving from Flamengo.

He is the third senior player to join the Giallorossi ahead of their first campaign under Gian Piero Gasperini, after former Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui and Brighton loanee Evan Ferguson.
