River Plate versus Monterrey will take place at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California.
With a 89,702 capacity, the Rose Bowl is the 20th largest stadium in the world and hosted the 1994 World Cup final between Italy and Brazil.
With a strong soccer history, the venue has also hosted the 1999 Women's World Cup final, the 1984 Olympic Soccer Gold Medal match and will host games at next summer's FIFA World Cup.

River Plate's opening victory came at a price. Enzo Perez suffered a muscle injury and was subbed off at half time as a precaution. Driussi was also forced off after clashing with the Urawa keeper in the act of scoring.
With Agustin Ruberto a long term absentee, the door will be open for 17-year-old Franco Mastantuono to start, while Miguel Borja is also in the frame to start again.

Spanish coach Domenec Torrent will hope his second game in charge of his new outfit will yield his first victory.
After an impressive showing against Inter, the former assistant to Pep Guardiola, will be tempted to stick with the same 11 that started against Inter Milan, knowing a good result could afford him to rest players in match three.
That would see Sergio Ramos, Stefan Medina and Victor Guzman remain as the back as a three. Carlos Salcedo is Monterrey's only missing man, out with a long term ACL injury.
These two clubs have met twice before in friendlies, with River Plate taking a win in 2023, with a draw in 2024.

River Plate were made to work hard in their opening victory, although not as hard as Monterrey as they earned a draw with Inter Milan. That freshness could play into the hands of the favourites.
