It's only two games into the Serie A season and the campaign is already heading into an international break, but there was much to chew on from matchday two.
Inter Milan suffered the same shock at the San Siro as their rivals did last week, while Napoli remain on maximum points - but only just.

The champions left it mighty late against Cagliari, with a 95th-minute winner in their first home game of the season, but the table reads two wins from two games for Antonio Conte's men.

What a start to the season the promoted side have made. Fresh off their famous win over Milan on opening day, they followed that up with a vital early-season victory over one of the other Serie A newbies, Sassuolo.

Two wins from two for Juventus, and yet to concede a goal so far this season. Dusan Vlahovic's goal was enough for victory over Genoa to see them stay on maximum points before the international break.

Just the start Gian Piero Gasperini would have wanted as Roma boss. His new side are yet to concede after two 1-0 victories in their opening two games, Matis' Sole's goal the difference against Pisa.

The San Siro saw a shock for the second week running as Keinan Davis - formerly of Aston Villa and Watford - starred in a 21- win for Udinese against Inter Milan. The victory means it's four points from their opening two games.

The biggest movers this week as Maurizio Sarri's men pulled off the most convincing win of the weekend. After their opening day defeat to Como, Lazio stuck four past Verona in their first home game of the campaign.

Two away days to kick off 2025-26 for Fiorentina, so they'll be pretty pleased to still be unbeaten having taken a point each from Cagliari and Torino.

Ivan Juric will be pleased that his new side are unbeaten after the first two games of the season, following up the opening day draw at Parma with another 1-1 draw at home to Pisa. A first win needs to come soon, however.

Massimiliano Allegri needed a response from his players following the opening day defeat to Cremonese and it got exactly that at Lecce. It wasn't pretty for most of it but goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic were enough to get Milan back on track.

After a narrow defeat to Roma on matchday one, this weekend saw a first win of the season for Bolonga and an impressive one, too. Riccardo Orsolini's goal was enough to down Como.

Como stood out on matchday one as they swept aside Lazio, but couldn't follow that victory up with anything at Bolonga. Cesc Fabregas' side failed to take their chances in the 1-0 defeat.

A second week in a row that the San Siro has seen a massive shock and this week it was the turn of Inter. Their 2-1 defeat to Udinese sees them as the biggest tumblers in the rankings as they fall from top spot.

Fabio Pisacane was so close to earning a much-deserved point against champions Napoli until conceding an injury-time goal, but Cagliari's openers have had much to like from the team.

It's been a tough opening pair of fixtures for Como, and after last week's point against Atalanta, they were bested by Roma in their first home game of 2025-26.

Parma have a point on the board as they come from behind to draw 1-1 with Atalanta in their first home game of the campaign. Patrick Cutrone netted five minutes from time.

Lecce found themselves on a bit of a fool's errand with AC Milan coming to town and looking to bounce back from their opening day defeat. It saw a 2-0 win for the away side at Lecce, meaning the club is still awaiting a first goal of the season.

A goalless draw to open up the season was followed by an expected defeat to Juventus on matchday two, but Genoa are also still without a goal in the new campaign.

After the opening weekend thrashing by Inter Milan, a positive result was needed, so a goalless draw in a much-improved performance will give Torino hope into the international break.

A big drop down the rankings for Verona as they were comfortably second best to Lazio. Coming off on the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat to Maurizo Sarri's side.

Bottom of the pile as the only side to not have picked up a single point so far this season. Sassuolo's fixture list hasn't been too kind, with a home game against the champions to kick off and then a battle away at fellow promoted side Cremonese, and it resulted in two defeats.
