The second weekend of the  Serie A season saw another shock at the San Siro  as Inter were defeated by Udinese , while champions Napoli needed a late, late winner to save their blushes.

But which stars made the biggest impact and have made the DAZN News' team of the week? Ash Rose picks out the best XI of the weekend from matchday two.

DAZN is the new home for Italy's top flight , where you can watch every match - that's 380 games - live across the campaign.

David de Gea (Fiorentina)

While his old club continues to struggle with goalkeeping issues, De Gea put in a fine display for Fiorentina in their game against Torino. It saw the Spanish stopper make a number of saves and earn his side a clean sheet and a share of the spoils.

Adam Marusic (Lazio)

Lazio's 4-0 win may have seen all the attackers hit the headlines, but the team also racked up a clean sheet. The Montenegrin played a big part in the shutout, while offering a constant outlet on the right for Maurizio Sarri's men.

Oumar Solet (Udinese)

Part of the three-man backline that were imperious in the Udinese defence as they recorded a 2-1 win at the San Siro. Solet and his partner frustrated Inter's attack all evening and only conceded through a spotkick.

Thomas Kristensen (Udinese)

Two weeks and two inclusions in the team of the week for the Dane, who has started off the season in fine form. At the San Siro, he helped his defence see out the win of the weekend and managed to keep Inter's all-star line-up at bay.

Charalampos Lykogiannis (Bolonga)

Ricardo Orsolini rightfully got their plaudits for getting the winner for Bolonga as they beat Como, but the victory came thanks to a solid display from their back four, notably from left-back Lykogiannis, who provided much-needed width and also didn't give Como a sniff on that flank.

David De Gea, Fiorentina

Matias Sole (Roma)

Roma are showing how hard they are to beat in their opening two games, but have also needed a match-winner on each occasion. This week, it was Matias Sole, whose goal was enough to take maximum points from their opening two games.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan)

The former Chelsea man helped Milan bounce back from their opening day shocker with a polished performance in the middle in the victory over Lecce. His display was topped off with netting Milan's opener in the win, profiting from a Luka Modric delivery to set his side on their way to three points.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa  (Napoli)

The champions looked to be heading towards a frustrating goalless draw in their first home game of the season, until Angissa saved the day. The former Fulham man turned in Stanislav Lobotka's low cross five minutes into injury time to ensure Napoli of all three points against Cagliari.

Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus)

You can't ask too much more from your striker than two goals in two games to open the season, especially when Sunday's goal was enough to narrowly beat Genoa . The big Serbian is so often linked with a move away from Juventus, but is once again showing his worth.

Valetin Castellanos (Lazio)

Lazio got the most comfortable win of matchday two and it was in a large part thanks to the display of Castellanos. Their 4-0 win over Verona saw the forward both score and assist as Maurizio Sarri's side got off the mark for the season.

Keinan Davis (Udinese)

The win of the weekend came at the San Siro and it was an Englishman who was the star of the show. Former Aston Villa forward Kienan Davies equalised for Udinese from the penalty spot before setting up the winner for Artha Atta in a Player of the Match performance from the forward.
