Serie A team of the week - Fiorentina's five-star showing and Juventus' big win

There may have only been six games this weekend in Serie A, but there were plenty of narratives from the teams involved in the last games before Christmas. 

Fiorentina got the best present with a first win of the season, while Juventus gave their fans some festive cheer with their biggest win yet under Luciano Spalletti. 

But the question is, who made our  Serie A  team of the week for matchday sixteen? Ash Rose takes his pick.

Emil Audero (Cremonese) 

Both goalies in the goalless stalemate between Lazio and Cremonese performed admirably in earning their sides a point. 

Yet, it was Audero and his backline who came out with the more plaudits, who kept the home side at bay with a solid display - especially after going down to ten men. 

Dodo (Fiorentina) 

The Brazilian hasn't had much attacking joy so far this season, as he's had to play his part in defence during Fiorentina's struggles. 

However, his displays at both ends against Udinese helped the Viola to their first win of the campaign, even assisting for Moise Kean's second goal. 

Isak Hien (Atalanta)

The big Swede chose the perfect time to score his first-ever Atalanta goal, topping off a dominating performance. 

It was his 94th-minute header that saw his team steal all three points away at Genoa. 

Andrea Cambiaso (Juventus)

In a tightly contested affair with Roma, Cambiaso was a constant outlet at wing-back. 

His assist for the opening goal was a massive moment in the game and allowed Juve to take control of the clash. 

Bremer (Juventus) 

The defender managed a first 90 minutes in over three months and never put a foot wrong in Juve's win over Roma. 

His two interventions in the first half were crucial in keeping the visitors out and key to the statement win for The Old Lady.

Nikola Vlasic (Torino) 

Matteo Guendouzi (Lazio) 

The type of performance that Lazio fans hope continues beyond January, as the midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from Rome. 

The Frenchman's battling display in the middle of the park saw Lazio control proceedings against Cremonese, even if they couldn't find a winner. 

Francisco Conceicao (Juventus) 

The Portuguese was a right menace in the first half, and had two chances to open scoring, putting away the second to send Juve on their way. 

Conceicao has quietly been one of Juventus' standout performers this season, and this was perhaps his best display yet. 

Nicolo Fagioli (Fiorentina) 

A win celebrated throughout Florence as the club finally got their first victory of the season, and Fagioli played a massive part in the triumph. 

The midfielder added two assists in the 5-1 thumping of Udinese.

Stefano Moreo  (Pisa)

The striker played a starring role in Serie A's most entertaining game of the weekend, against Cagliari. 

The forward was on hand to score the last-minute equaliser for the away side, to earn a crucial point. 

Moise Kean (Fiorentina)

It's been a frustrating season so far for the former Everton man, who many tipped to be among the top scorers in Serie A this season, but has struggled alongside Fiorentina's woes. 

However, his brace in the 5-1 thrashing of Udinese, where he doubled his total for the campaign, could be a season-changer for both the striker and his team.
