Fulham hero Harrison Reed celebrates 'hard-fought win' over Stoke in FA Cup fourth round

Fulham were forced to come from behind in their 2-1 victory at Stoke City on Sunday, and match-winner Harrison Reed said his side just needed to follow their game plan in order to come away with the win.

The Cottagers were the visitors in the FA Cup fourth round match but entered the game as favourites due to being a Premier League side taking on the 14th-place team in the EFL Championship.

However, it was Stoke who struck first, with Bae Jun-ho finding the back of the net in the 19th minute. The Potters then made it tough for Fulham to find their way back into the match, riding their lead past halftime and all the way until the 55th minute, when the Cottagers' Brazilian winger Kevin scored the equaliser. 

The game appeared to be headed for extra time as Fulham could not find another goal during a dominant stretch of the second half, but Reed scored the decisive goal in the 84th minute to give the Cottagers the victory.

"Really happy, a hard-fought win," Reed told TNT Sports following the final whistle. "It was about sticking to our game plan.

"We needed to be more clinical, and it was that final pass and final decision. We were able to come out and replicate what the manager wanted.

"Amazing feeling scoring and I don't get many, so it is extra special."

Fulham will find out their next opponents when the fifth-round draw is held on Monday.
