How the Women’s Champions League Quarter-Final Draw Works

Group winners (seeded) will face group runners-up (unseeded) from a different group.

There is no country protection – teams from the same nation can be drawn against each other.

Runners-up will play the first leg at home.

Draw Process:

  • The four runners-up are placed in one bowl, and the four group winners in another.
  • A ball is drawn from the runners-up bowl to determine the home team for the first quarter-final tie.
  • A ball is then drawn from the group winners' bowl to determine their opponent.
  • The process repeats for the remaining three quarter-final ties.
  • Teams cannot be drawn against opponents from their group at this stage.

How the Women’s Champions League Semi-Final Draw Works

  • No seeding or country protection applies at this stage.
  • The draw consists of four slips labelled ‘Winners of quarter-final 1’ to ‘Winners of quarter-final 4’.
  • The first two balls drawn will form the first semi-final pairing, with the first team drawn hosting the first leg.
  • The next two balls will form the second semi-final tie, with the same home-leg designation process.

Final Draw and Venue

The final draw is held for administrative purposes to determine the ‘home’ team at the final in Estádio José Alvalade, Lisbon, on May 24, 2025.

The two semi-final winners are placed in a bowl, and the first team drawn will be designated as the home team for the final.
