After weeks of negotiations, Manchester City finally have their man in defender Josko Gvardiol.
With it currently unknown as to whether Aymerica Laporte and Kyle Walker will be staying at the Etihad Stadium for the forthcoming season, it was vital that City brought in another defender, and they have now brought in one of football's most promising talents.
Gvardiol made his senior debut on October 18, 2019, for Dinamo Zagreb and since then has continued to impressed.
He joined RB Leipzing a year later, but after seeing the rest of the 2020/21 out with Zagreb, Gvardiol made his Bundesliga debut against Stuttgart on August 20, 2021, where he caught the attention of a number of European football's biggest clubs.
After helping steer Leipzig towards back-to-back DFB-Pokal titles, Gvardiol's exit looked imminent and indeed it was, with City announcing that they had signed the Croatian on a five-year deal on August 5, 2023.
Josko Gvardiol joined Manchester City on a five-year deal for £77m from RB Leipzig.
Before joining Manchester City, Gvardiol played for two clubs and both are European.
