Who will the Serie A teams play in the 2025-26 Europa League?

With the Serie A season now underway, attention turns to European action for those competing in this season's Europa League. 

Atalanta won this competition in 2024 when they beat Bayer Leverkusen to become the first Italian team to lift the trophy in 25 years, so can either Roma or Bologna triumph in 2026? 

Here's who each Italian side will play in the 2025-26 league phase, with the dates still to be confirmed.

Gian Piero Gasperini knows all about winning this competition, having led Atalanta to glory two years ago and will begin his European adventure with Roma in a league phase that includes two trips to Glasgow. Roma will face both members of the Old Firm, while headline home clashes include games against Lille and Stuttgart.
