How many championships/titles has Seth Rollins won? Full list of career titles and accomplishmentsWWE

As one of the biggest stars in WWE, Seth "Freakin" Rollins possesses the ability to stay on top for a long time.

DAZN looks at the career accomplishments of the Iowa native.

Who is Seth Rollins?

Like many professional wrestlers, Colby Lopez is much-better known by his ring name.

Born in 1986 in Iowa, Lopez was like many of his cohorts in that he started out in pro wrestling while still in his teens. It was during his early days in the business that he tried many different gimmicks and ring names, including Gixx, Tyler Black, and much later, Seth Rollins.

His early years on the independent circuit were fruitful, as Rollins (performing as Tyler Black) captured several singles and tag team titles. Rollins joined Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2007 where he continued to wrestle as Tyler Black, and it was in ROH where his charisma and superb in-ring ability began to shine on a larger scale.

Rollins' three-year stint in ROH was successful both on-screen and off-screen, as he claimed singles and tag team belts while grabbing the attention of WWE. He signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2010 and was immediately sent to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) to work on a new gimmick, and it was there that the Seth Rollins persona was born.

Two years in FCW (rebranded to NXT in 2012) was enough time for Rollins to make the jump to the main WWE roster, and he did so as part of one of the most impactful stables of the 21st century as Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (a.k.a. Jon Moxley) formed The Shield in Nov. 2012. All three members of The Shield were pushed as legitimate threats to established main event stars such as CM Punk, John Cena and The Rock, which naturally led to opportnities for singles matches for the trio.

Rollins rode that wave to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship in March 2015, however he would be forced to vacate the title in November of that year after tearing several knee ligaments during a live event. It wouldn't be until May 2016 that Rollins would return to the ring, and he was immediately thrust back into the title picture against his former Shield teammates as he defeated Reigns for the World Heavyweight title in June only to lose it to Ambrose minutes later (after Ambrose had cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase he had won earlier that night).

Despite the title battles, The Shield reunited soon thereafter for a brief run, with all three men having reached main event status at that point. Rollins and Ambrose won the Raw Tag Team Championship during this period, but injury concerns to Ambrose and Reigns put an end to The Shield's second run and Rollins resumed his pursuit of more singles titles.

From 2017 onward, Rollins won every belt that was available to him, including the Intercontinental title, WWE Universal Championship and United States Championship, and in May 2023 he became the inaugural holder of the World Heavyweight Championship.

With Rollins maintaining his status at the top of the card and branching out into other forms of entertainment, there's no telling just how much higher his star can rise.
