The latest instalment of Money in the Bank at London's O2 arena was an event full of unforgettable moments including Shayna Baszler betraying Ronda Rousey during their women's tag-team title match.
Baszler and Rousey were defending their WWE women's tag-team titles against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, but mid-way through the match to the shock of fans, Baszler turned on her partner which allowed Morgan and Rodriguez to win back the titles they were forced to vacate last month.
There is yet to be any reasoning as to why Baszler decided to turn on Rousey, but one fan believes this was likely to happen as a result of the gear Baszler was wearing during the match.
U/Wienerburg took to Reddit to shine light on the fact that Baszler was wearing gear similar to that of Warhammer 40k legion the Sons of Horus who betrayed the Emperor in the popular tabletop game.
Baszler has previously expressed her passion for Warhammer 40k and maybe she used the lore as inspiration for how she would go about betraying her tag-team partner.
Whether this was a coincidence or the plan all along is yet unknown, but fans can expect Baszler to explain her actions in her next TV appearance.
