Diego Pacheco believes he will dispatch Kevin Lele Sadjo inside the distance, stating that Saturday's latest bout will just be "another day in the office" for him.

The unbeaten super-middleweight headlines a home state card in Stockton, California against the former European super-middleweight champion this weekend.

With two-dozen pro fights under his belt and just as many victories, there are plenty who feel the impressive star is moving closer to major world opportunities.

First, he must see off Sadjo - but speaking at Friday's weigh-in, Pachecho outlined what he expects to be another successful evening for his own ring ambitions.

Introducing DAZN Ultimate Tier

"I let him know we're at the DP show, and we all know how the DP show ends," he said. "Good luck to him, but it's going to be another big night for Team Pacheco.

"I've a new team with me, but it's my old team since I've been working with since I was a little kid. I'm excited to be back with them, and I can't wait to showcase that.

"I grew up fighting guys like him in Southern California and Mexico. This is nothing new. It's going to be another day in the office. [He] won't see the twelfth round."

Victory for Pacheco will cap off a successful 2025 heading into a new year where the super-middleweight division appears more fractured than it has in years.

Hungry Pacheco keen for latest marker statement

At six-foot-four, there aren't many super-middleweights carrying the height and range that Diego Pacheco has - but his ambitions are just as big as his frame too.

Comfortable points wins over Steven Nelson and Trevor McCumby this year have helped the star further burnish his stock, and now he heads home to headline.

Matchroom will surely have designs on getting Pacheco a prime shot next year, especially as the super-middleweight division behind Terence Crawford's success.

But before he can get in with the big dogs, the star must come through this latest test with flying colours, especially after his last two opponents went the distance.

If Pacheco can put Kevin Lele Sadjo down before the final bell, then his stock will only soar higher - an early and invaluable Christmas present to himself indeed.
