Jermain Franklin isn't looking past Dillian Whyte, but he’s prepared to say that he will beat Anthony Joshua if a meeting between the heavyweight contenders was ever to take place.

Franklin faces Whyte on November 26th, live on DAZN, and victory over the recent world title challenger is almost certain to land Franklin a monumental opportunity in 2023.

Whyte’s demoralising loss to Tyson Fury earlier this year was a one-sided performance where the Brixton man failed to show up.

Against Franklin, Whyte has the chance to reignite his career, but the man from America is planning the biggest win of his career, and if successful against Whyte, he’s ready to test himself against Joshua.

“I'm focusing on Dillian Whyte right now,” said Franklin when speaking to Lord Ping.

“Of course, I would love to fight Joshua or someone on that level. I want to show I'm the best by beating the best. If Joshua and I get in the ring, I would love that. I respect his game, but I feel I will win.”
