KSI has given an update on when he is expected to return to Misfits Boxing.
The British entertainment star has not fought since being beaten by Tommy Fury in Manchester two years ago.
KSI was set to fight last August in a 2 vs 1 tag team contest with Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor, but a hand injury in camp forced him to withdraw.
This was the latest in a series of withdrawals from KSI whose bouts against Wayne Bridge and Dillon Danis were also scuppered due to issues outside of the ring.
After back-to-back wins this year, Darren Till is fast becoming the face of Misfits, and he returns to action tonight when he faces Luke Rockhold in the main event of Misfits Boxing 22: Ring of Thrones, live on DAZN PPV.
Being the face of the promotion will be a crown KSI will want to reclaim, but when can fans expect him to lace up the gloves?
In an exclusive interview with DAZN, KSI detailed his road back to the ring.
"The thought for me right now is making sure my hand is fixed," KSI said.
"Surgery wise, I’m looking to do that soon, once that’s sorted, recovery time. It could be quite a while depending on what the doctor says.
"Hopefully I can then start punching again, get back into it again and go from there.
"In terms of names though, I’ve always said it, big names only. When I do return, it’s going to be big."
KSI may not be in action this evening, but he will be ringside for a packed fight card which also sees former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and Joey Essex in action.
Watch Darren Till vs. Luke Rockhold, Tony Ferguson vs Salt Papi and Dillon Danis, Joey Essex and more fight only on DAZN PPV, this Saturday night, August 30.
