Garcia vs Romero fight night preview: Making history in Times Square in race to be America's face of boxing
It is another incredible week in the boxing world, as May kicks off with a unique and historic three-fight card in New York, involving some of the biggest names in American boxing.
Taking place in New York's Times Square, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez will contest in three separate bouts, while the following day Canelo Alvarez makes his Riyadh debut against William Scull. Both fight nights are exclusively on DAZN PPV.
These are must-see events for boxing fans across the world and here are four reasons not to miss what will be an iconic and memorable night in New York.
Three of the 'four princes' in action
Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez are all in the running to be the face of boxing in the United States.
All three fighters have electric personalities and already have built up quite a fanbase.
This event will serve as a major platform to make a statement to the super lightweight division.
Expect the unexpected whenever Garcia, Haney and Lopez are generating noise ahead of fight night.

DAZNGarcia and Haney collision course
With Garcia and Haney on the same card facing Rolando Romero and Jose Ramirez respectively, it is no secret that a rematch between the pair will be next if they manage to win in New York.
Garcia and Haney's first fight was one full of bad blood and controversy with Garcia winning by majority decision.
This was then declared a no contest after Garcia tested positive for Ostarine the day before, and day of the fight.
A second fight between the two is one that fans are desperate to see, but Garcia and Haney need to hold their end of the bargain in order to make it a reality.
However, trying to arrange super fights for the future will no doubt serve as motivation for Romero and Ramirez to produce a major upset.

Lopez makes world title defence after slapping opponent
It is safe to say WBO and Ring Magazine super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez is a divisive character.
The American is not afraid to cause chaos away from the ring and this was on show at the Los Angeles press conference for his world title defence against Arnold Barboza Jr when Lopez slapped his opponent.
Whether Lopez changes his demeanour during fight week remains to be seen, but fight fans will be eager to watch Lopez's every move as he looks to cement his place as the number one fighter at 140lbs.
