Dillian Whyte returned to the ring last month.

Billy Nelson, the trainer of Martin Bakole, has called for former world title challenger Dillian Whyte to face his fighter.

Whyte returned to the ring last month in Ireland with a win over Christian Hammer after the German retired in his corner before the third round.

Following this victory, Nelson sent a message to Whyte and pleaded with the 35-year-old to face Bakole later this year.

"Please, please, tell Dillian Whyte’s people to get in touch with us," Nelson told Boxing Social

"We’ll fight him in a heartbeat. Get that fight on in summer, no problem, No problem, Joe Joyce, easy, easy fight, a good fight, a hard fight, but Martin will do what Martin does."

Nelson then went on to make a prediction for a fight between Bakole and Whyte.

"If Dillian Whyte wants to stand in the middle of the ring with him, he’ll knock him out.

"If he wants to box him, Martin will outbox him with speed, skill, movement.”

Bakole's latest outing came on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou last October when he stopped Carlos Takam in the fourth round of their heavyweight contest.
