IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois is no longer immune to the bright lights of huge fights, but his upcoming bout with Oleksandr Usyk will be the biggest and toughest test of his career to date.
Taking place on July 19, exclusively live on DAZN PPV, Usyk, who holds the WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight belts, will attempt to become an undisputed heavyweight champion for a second time against Dubois.
Before the two meet in the ring, Dubois has already written himself into boxing history by becoming the first British fighter to headline two successive boxing events at London's Wembley Stadium.
'Dynamite' will have fond memories of fighting under the iconic arch after knocking out Anthony Joshua in the fifth round back in September, and speaking to the media on Monday, promoter Frank Warren emphasised the history associated with this undisputed title fight.
"It’s a massive event, as of today we have sold 83,000 tickets, it’s going to be a massive atmosphere for a massive fight," Warren said.
"Four belts on the line, it’s the first time a Brit has fought in this country at heavyweight for the four belts, and he can create history.
"Daniel Dubois can create history against an undefeated fighter who I think is considered by the media as the greatest heavyweight of the 21st century."
Dubois headlining two back-to-back Wembley fight cards is something that not even Anthony Joshua, arguably the country's number one boxing superstar, could achieve.
But in order for this record to be looked on with fondness, Dubois needs to do the business in the ring against one of the world's best pound-for-pound operators.
It should serve as no surprise that Usyk is the favourite to be crowned undisputed champion following two consecutive wins over Tyson Fury, and while it means Dubois is once again an underdog come the opening bell, Warren believes it is a role his fighter thrives in.
"All these things are a journey, it was meant to be, he was a young man, he’s 27 now, he’s still a young guy for a heavyweight and in his last three fights, he’s been phenomenal.
"If you go into his last four fights, including this fight, he’s gone into it as an underdog."
With three successive knockout wins against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Joshua, Dubois will be full of confidence in his attempts to get revenge over Usyk.
The pair first met inside the ring two years ago with Usyk managing to stop Dubois in the ninth round.
The contest however was overshadowed by a controversial low blow call in round five where Usyk was given ample time to recover before sealing the win.
Dubois has improved significantly since that night in Wroclaw, Poland, and now he has the chance to prove that he has what it takes to be the king of an exciting heavyweight division for years to come.
