Since being staged for the first time in 2005, Premier League Darts has quickly become one of the biggest tournaments on the PDC's calendar.
Starting off as just a tour around the UK, Premier League Darts has become a cross continental event with some nights now being staged in Germany and the Netherlands.
As the years have gone by, Premier League Darts has experienced numerous changes in how the tournament takes shape and who is determined the winner.
Below, DAZN News breaks down the rules of this current iteration.
From 2022, Premier League Darts uses an eight-player nightly knockout bracket format in an attempt to make every match count.
At the start of the night, each of the eight players will compete in four quarter-finals, the winners will then progress to the semi-finals and the winner of those the final where a winner will be declared. All these matches will be the best of 11 legs.
How each player performs each night will earn them points which will determine their place on the Premier League table, the points system is as follows.
The top four players at the end of the quarter-finals will then advance to the playoffs which consists of two semi-finals and the final.
The semi-finals on the final night will be played over 19 legs, while the final is played over 21 legs.
