The NFC portion of the NFL Divisional Round begins in Seattle as the No. 1 seed Seahawks (14-3) lock horns with NFC West rival, the San Francisco 49ers (13-5). 

During the regular season, the teams split the season series, with each team getting a road win. 

On Sunday, the 49ers advanced with a 23-19 victory over the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles as quarterback Brock Purdy threw for two touchdowns. 

The Seahawks were led by MVP candidate Sam Darnold, who threw for 4,048 yards with 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions,
