Week 3 belonged to the playmakers, with several stars delivering exactly what fans crave with heart-pounding, game-defining moments.

Here are the top 5 individual performances that stole the show.

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

Expectations were sky-high for Williams entering his second season, and he’s already proving he’s taken a step forward.

The first two weeks hinted at growth, but Week 3 erased any doubt. Williams and the Bears lit up the Dallas Cowboys with four passing touchdowns, zero turnovers, and a 67.9% completion rate in Chicago’s 31-14 rout - their first win of the season.

This 65-yard bomb to rookie wideout Luther Burden III was the longest completion by any quarterback this season, and the longest of Williams’ young career.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts were expected to struggle in 2025, but have so far proven the doubters wrong by starting the season with a 3-0 record.

The driving force behind that success has undoubtedly been the form of Jonathan Taylor, who leads all running backs with 338 rushing yards.

The 26-year-old was electric in the Colts' 41-20 rout of the Tennessee Titans, compiling 102 yards and running in three touchdowns, while also adding four receptions for 16 yards.

AJ Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

Brown was an afterthought through the Eagles' first two games, relegated to a bit-part contributor in Philadelphia's run-first offense.

But when the Eagles found themselves 26-7 down at halftime against the Los Angeles Rams on the weekend, quarterback Jalen Hurts was forced to air it out in an effort to play catch-up.

The beneficiary and the catalyst for the dramatic turnaround was Brown, who corralled six of his 10 targets for 109 yards and the 50th touchdown of his career.

Jordan Davis, DT, Philadelphia Eagles

If Brown was the Eagles' difference-maker on offense, Davis was the dominant force on the defense.

The 335-pound wrecking ball finished with five tackles and a sack, but his defining moment came on the game’s final snap.

With the Rams lining up for a 44-yard field goal that looked destined to steal the win, Davis rose above the line, blocked the kick, then scooped up the ball and rumbled 61 yards for the game-sealing score.

According to Next Gen Stats, Davis hit 18.59 mph on the return - the fastest speed recorded by any player over 330 pounds since 2017.

Isaiah Rodgers, CB, Minnesota Vikings

Cornerbacks rarely get the spotlight that offensive stars do, but after delivering one of the most remarkable defensive performances in recent memory, Rodgers left no doubt he belongs in the conversation.

The 27-year-old finished with three tackles, two passes defended, one interception, one fumble recovery, and two defensive touchdowns, helping the Vikings to a commanding 48-10 victory, and taking them to 2-1 for the season.

What's more, Rodgers' performance, according to the grading system of PFF, earned a perfect 99.9 rating, the highest given to a player since 2006.

Head coach Kevin O'Connell said it best when he said, "I've never seen a performance like it".
