Manchester City have named their squad for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and it's apparent that the English club have wasted little time as they proceed with a summer overhaul.
The 27-player roster includes four new faces as the Sky Blues spent a reported £116,600,000 during the 10-day extra transfer window available to Club World Cup sides. Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders are all part of Pep Guardiola's squad for the summer tournament after each player was acquired on eight-figure deals, while free transfer Marcus Bettinelli rounds out the list of new players looking to impress with their new side in the United States.
They'll be joined by City stalwarts Erling Haaland, Rodri, Phil Foden and other familiar names as the Premier League side aim to rebound from a forgettable 2024-25 campaign with a long run through the new FIFA competition.
Manchester City are in Group G of the FIFA Club World Cup, along with Wydad AC, Al Ain and Juventus. The Sky Blues will open their tournament on June 18 against Wydad in Philadelphia.
