Chelsea stunned the footballing world with a dominant first-half performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final.

 

PSG had only allowed a single goal in the lead-up to Sunday's showpiece match, but the Blues apparently didn't get the memo as they poured in three goals past Gianluigi Donnarumma in the opening 45 minutes, taking a 3-0 lead into the half-time break at MetLife Stadium.

Cole Palmer was front and centre in the deluge, scoring the first two goals and assisting on Joao Pedro's 43rd-minute strike as the Premier League side dealt a hammer blow to the Parisians.
