Crystal Palace are a problem for home teams, and they proved as much again on Sunday as they snatched a late 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage against Fulham.

Since Oliver Glasner took over as Palace manager, the club have amassed the fourth-highest point total from road matches in the Premier League. Only heavyweights Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have collected more points away from home than Palace since Glasner's appointment in March 2024, with the club's road warrior act continuing this weekend thanks to Marc Guehi's 87th-minute winner against the Cottagers.

Club captain Guehi credited his teammates for sticking to the game plan in the face of a challenging Fulham side.

"It was a tough game, Fulham create many chances and thank God we stuck in the game," Guehi told Sky Sports immediately after the match. "When everyone does their job it makes it easy."

Eddie Nketiah, who scored Palace's first goal in the 20th minute, echoed Guehi's comments about the team, who have won four of their last six games and now sit in fourth place in the league.

"We fight for each other and we are full of confidence," Nketiah said. "The sky is the limit if we keep playing as we are.

"We just want to enjoy the win and focus on the next game on Thursday [in the UEFA Conference League against Shelbourne]."
