Jamie Vardy opens his Serie A account as Cremonese draw with Atalanta - watch free highlights

The last chapter in Jamie Vardy's fairytale career got the boost we'd all been waiting for as he finally scored his first goal since moving to Cremonese. 

Vardy made the move to Serie A in the summer, but has so far had to play catch-up with his fitness. But he was on hand in this clash with Ivan Juric's unbeaten side to open the scoring. 

Slotting home from close range after Alessio Zerbin's shot had been saved, in a typically predatory finish from the Leicester City legend.  

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to take all three points as the visitors levelled late on through Marco Brescianini to remain the only team in the league yet to lose a game this season.
