There's still one more match left to play in Matchweek 15 of the Premier League, with Wolves set to host Manchester United on Monday, but the bulk of the games are in the books.
This weekend saw some notable results, including Arsenal's late loss to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace snatching victory in the dying minutes at Craven Cottage.
Here are some of the bigger talking points from the weekend matches in Matchweek 15.
While no one was confusing them with the Invincibles, Arsenal's record was nearly spotless through the first 14 weeks of the league campaign.
The Gunners had just one loss under the belts heading into their showdown with surging Aston Villa on Saturday, and that defeat was a narrow one against a pre-meltdown Liverpool.
Since then, Mikel Arteta's side have been unbeatable, not only in the Premier League but in the Champions League and Carabao Cup as well. The Gunners had stretched their undefeated run to 18 matches across all competitions, and were favoured to leave Villa Park with at least a point.
However, Villa were stellar on their home turf, scoring first in their 2-1 victory and getting a clutch stoppage-time winner from Emi Buendia to become the first team to claim victory against Arsenal since August.
The result, while mildly unexpected, isn't surprising — Villa have now won five straight league matches and have completely reversed the poor form that plagued them in the open weeks of the campaign.
Unai Emery's side are a legitimate threat to Arsenal's title aspirations, as the Gunners found out first-hand.
While Villa have enjoyed their football in recent weeks, the same can't be said for Chelsea.
It was only last month that the Blues looked to stake their claim as the main challenger for Arsenal's place at the top of the table, and they did so by playing a front-foot style that was entertaining and produced plenty of goals.
Then Chelsea came up against Arsenal in a massive clash on the final day of November and were forced to grind out a 1-1 draw with the Gunners after Moises Caicedo's first-half red card.Â
That result was the start of a relative drought for Enzo Maresca's side, who followed that up with a disastrous 3-1 loss at Leeds United and then this weekend's 0-0 draw at Bournemouth.
Those two most recent results — against two of the leakiest defences in the Premier League — indicate a lack of finish that betrays Chelsea's loaded squad.
Their inability to score more than one goal over the past two games against those two teams is a real problem that Maresca will have to figure out, and fast.
Another standout away performance by Crystal Palace led to a 2-1 victory at Fulham on Sunday, boosting the club into fourth place.
It was a gutsy showing by Oliver Glasner's men, who relied on captain Marc Guehi for the match-winner in the dying moments of the game.
Guehi has embodied Palace's spirit this season, and indeed throughout the Glasner era, as the side have shrugged off any perceived home field advantage many of their hosts thought they might have had.
The defender has scored eight goals in his Premier League tenure, with seven of those come away from Selhurst Park.
It's a truly remarkable statistic that explains a lot about Palace's mentality when on the road. Their captain has led by example in this regard, and the team are suddenly in the Champions League spots.
