Arsenal have another crucial Premier League match this weekend, with a visit to rival Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

This edition of the North London Derby could have massive implications in the title race, with the Gunners holding a one-point lead over Manchester City while having played one more game than Pep Guardiola's side.

That makes every point extremely valuable as Arsenal look to claim the league crown for the first time in two decades.

For Mark Lawrenson, this year's Arsenal squad is certainly good enough to win the league title. Speaking to Paddy Power, the former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland defender explained that the upcoming derby match is of huge importance to Arsenal's aspirations, and that one particular player could hold the key to pushing the Gunners over the line in the title race.

“For Arsenal, they want to win the league so they have to go to Tottenham and win," Lawrenson said. "What they’ve done well is that they’ve made themselves a really good side and tough to score against.

“Also Thomas Partey has come back from injury and he’s going to be important for them, and I think he’ll get Arsenal over the line for the Premier League title because he’s different to the rest of the midfielders.

“It was interesting to see how well Martin Ødegaard played against Chelsea [in Tuesday's 5-0 win] because Thomas Partey gives him and Declan Rice more room to play as he sits in front of the defence.

“They might get a draw against Spurs at the weekend, but I think they’ll nick it.”
