PSG may have become THE dominant force in French football over the past decade, but in 2025, they conquered Europe as well.

Ten times in the last twelve seasons, the Parisians have lifted the Ligue 1 trophy, but even with the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, they failed to deliver the Champions League they so desperately crave.

However, that all changed in 2025 as they lifted the Champions League in style and now they have their eyes on winning the FIFA Club World Cup in this weekend's final against Chelsea.

DAZN News has everything you need to know about PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain team guide

Location

The leading light of French football is situated in its capital city, Paris.

Their Parc des Princes home is located in the south-west of the French capital, inside the 16th arrondissement.

Origin

One of Europe’s younger clubs, PSG were formed in 1970 following the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain after a group of businessmen decided to create a major force in the French capital.

Top scorer (Ligue 1 24/25) - Ousmane Dembele (21 goals)

Out of the shadows of PSG’s big marquee names, Dembele is finally showing his credentials.

The French winger has been unstoppable this season and become a real force for the French side.

Manager - Luis Enrique (ESP)

The former Spanish international has quickly amassed a number of high-profile posts in his managerial career and, for the majority, been a big success.

He was the architect of Barcelona's 2015 treble - a year that also saw him win the FIFA Club World Cup with the Catalans - and has also coached the Spanish national team.

Since taking the job in Paris, he's already collected a domestic treble and remains odds-on for a second successive league triumph.
