Things to watch out for this weekend in Serie A
Can Jamie Vardy upset Inter's party?
Inter's 6-2 win over Pisa felt like an ominous result for Serie A and the destination of the title, as the league leaders opened up a five-point lead at the top of the table.
Next up for Cristian Chivu's side is a trip to Cremona, a game you can watch for FREE across DAZN this weekend, as the Nerazzurri look to pile more misery on Cremonese's recent dismal run.
The promoted club have punched their weight for most of the season, but are now without a win since the beginning of December, while Jamie Vardy has only one goal in his last nine outings.
There's nothing the home side and their star striker like more than upsetting the odds, but it's going to be a tall ask to stop Inter and their ruthless attack in this one.
In-form foes meet
Just below Serie A's top five are the league's two most in-form teams, Como and Atalanta, who meet on Sunday, both with Champions League qualification on their minds.
The home side comes into it off the back of hitting Torino for six, and with two of the most dangerous attackers in the league in Nico Paz and Anastasios Douvikas, ready to continue their rich vein of form.
However, Atalanta are flying right now, unbeaten in their last five and will head to Como with plenty of confidence.
Champions need to bounce back
Napoli's season is in danger of unravelling just at the wrong time, and there's a massive need for the champions to get back on track as they host Fiorentina.
Last weekend's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Juventus put a huge dent in their title defence and they now face an uphill battle to retain their crown, with both Juve and Roma now very much in the fold.
Add to that their European woes, and the season faces the prospect of petering out if they don't turn things around quickly.
Antonio Conte's side welcome Fiorentina to the Maradona, who are back in the bottom three and desperate for points themselves, making this one a crucial game at both ends of the table.
