Serie A returns this weekend with a blockbuster line-up that could define how the top six will look come the end of the season, including the destination of this year's Scudetto.

Up until a couple of weeks ago, it looked as though Inter would secure a 21st championship win, as they appeared unstoppable at the top of the table.

However, following their defeat in the Derby della Madonnina, the Nerazzurri have dropped points in the subsequent two outings and are now winless in their last three.

It has seen their lead at the top cut to just six points, with Milan breathing down their necks and Napoli, who once looked to be out of the race, once again smelling blood a point further back.

It's given the final eight games a real must-see factor, starting with this weekend, when Inter host Roma and Napoli and Milan meet in what could be a real deciding factor on either side's title credentials.

Looking on with his own excitement is Rossoneri legend Massimo Ambrosini, who, speaking exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Tooniebet, believes anything is possible for his former side and rivals.

He said, "It's open because Inter Milan is in a very difficult situation right now. They're playing without energy, without ideas, and anything could happen. Everything is open.

"There's now a different mentality for AC Milan, for Napoli, as they are on the up. They've started to believe what seemed to be impossible three games before.

"For Inter, in the last four years, they've lost two championships in the last day. So even psychologically, they could start feeling this kind of pressure.

"I think everything could be decided from the next game because Inter is going to play Roma at home, and Milan and Napoli play each other. It's very exciting."

Luka Modric

Ambrosini was part of a Milan side that won four Serie A titles in a career that saw the midfielder play over 500 games for the club.

However, the famous club have struggled in more recent times, and didn't even qualify for Europe last season. Yet, there has been improvement under Max Allegri.

A second-place finish would be deemed a major success for his former, even if he admits, it's not the best version of Milan the league has seen.

"Allegri has done a very good job and made AC Milan very concrete," Ambrosini added.

"They don't play very good football. Here in Italy, there's been a lot of talk about the way Milan has decided to play, more counterattack and less in the opponent's half.

"But you see AC Milan, you see a team with a soul, with a purpose and everybody playing together.

"The limits are in attack and defence. But they have important players in the midfield with Modric and Rabiot, they have been very good together."
