The club is one of THE major names in German and European basketball: ALBA BERLIN. Successful for decades in the men's game, the women's team has also made its mark: promotion to the Toyota Women's Basketball Bundesliga in 2022, and their first championship title in 2024. The ambition is to continue this success – and to do so sustainably. With 3x3 Olympic champion Svenja Brunckhorst, a former top basketball player now manages the women's and girls' teams at the capital city club and is driving forward professionalisation not only within the club but also at league level – a tough job.
