How we moderate content on our platformÂ
We enable interaction and content sharing during live broadcast sporting events, including via FanZone. Our moderation standards, processes, and tools foster fun conversations that are of common interest, while protecting users from harmful or illegal content. Â
DAZN’s moderation policies  Â
- Community guidelines, which provides clear and easy-to-understand rules about allowed and prohibited behavior.
- Terms of Use, which defines the formal agreement between DAZN and users, setting out the rules for the use of our products and services.
How we manage unacceptable content?
DAZN removes violating content through three methods:
- Automatic removal: We use automated tools to apply specific rules to remove selected content (e.g., swearing, inappropriate language).
- Moderation: Our moderators generate sports-related discussions/quizzes, review posts to keep conversations on-topic, and remove violating content and block responsible users per DAZN standards.
- User reporting: Anyone can report posts for review by moderators, who will decide on whether to remove or block.
Consequences for posting unacceptable content
- Posts that violate the rules will be deleted.
- Users may face temporary suspensions or permanent bans, depending on the severity.
- Content that is illegal (according to local laws) is reported to the appropriate authorities.
Challenge content removal
If you believe that your content has been unfairly removed:
- Email DAZN at help@dazn.com with the name of the live event, time when the content was posted, and a copy of the removed content.
- DAZN will review the decision.
- If the removal is incorrect and the platform allows it, the content will be restored.
