To comply with legal regulations, we need to ensure that you are over 18 and therefore eligible to watch age restricted content. It also enables us to protect minors from seeing violent content. You have to complete age verification if you attempt to watch content which requires age verification.

How do I know what content requires Age verification?
You will find a little 18 symbol on the content tile. Currently, the restricted content includes all MMA competitions.

When you attempt to play restricted content and you have not yet age verified or set your PIN, you will be prompted to the age verification process.

How do I verify my age?
Verifying your age is a simple 2-step process which shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes. All you need is access to the DAZN website on your computer and your ID or Passport.

You can get to the age verification page through restricted content or through the “Age verification” section on Settings. From there we take you through three simple steps:

1. Enter the identification number of your German ID or international passport. We show you where exactly you can find those on the document you are using.
   
2. Confirm the pop-up box stating that your age has been successfully verified.
   
3. Set a PIN, which you will be asked to enter each time you attempt to stream restricted content.
   

What if I forget my PIN?

1. To reset your PIN, simply go to the Age verification page on Settings and click on “Reset PIN now”.
   
2. To set a new PIN, you will need to re-enter your Passport number.
   
3. Confirm the pop-up box stating that your age has been successfully verified.
   
4. Set a PIN, which you will be asked to enter each time you attempt to stream restricted content.
   

What happens with my ID/Passport data?
At no stage we are storing your id/passport data. We simply use it to validate your age.

Do I need to Age verify if I watch restricted content outside Germany, Austria or Switzerland?
Currently age verification and youth protection PIN are not supported outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will not be able to age verify or watch restricted content. When trying to attempt watching restricted content, you will receive an error message on your screen.
