The NFC portion of the NFL Divisional Round began in Seattle on Saturday evening as the No. 1 seed Seahawks locked horns with NFC West rival, the San Francisco 49ers. During the regular season, the teams split the season series, with each team getting a road win.

That changed on this January night as Kenneth Walker III had 145 total yards (116 rushing, 29 receiving) and three touchdowns to lead the Seahawks to a 41-6 wipeout of the 49ers from Lumen Field in Seattle. They will face the winner of Sunday's game between the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams.

You could see the writing on the wall that the game was over after the opening kickoff when All-Pro returner Rashid Shaheed sprinted 95 yards for the touchdown, and it was all uphill for the Seahawks from there.

The Seahawks defense forced three turnovers, had two sacks on 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, and held running back Christian McCaffery to 74 total yards (39 receiving, 35 rushing) and Brock Purdy to 140 yards passing and three turnovers (two fumbles, one interception).

Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold didn't have to do too much. He went 12 of 17 for 124 yards and one touchdown.
