The Buffalo Bills will be without one of their key weapons for Sunday's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which you can watch with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. the US and China).
Wide receiver Keon Coleman is missing Sunday's game due to missing a team meeting on Friday. If Coleman hadn't missed the meeting, he'd have been in the lineup on Sunday. Until Friday, Coleman was a full participant in practice. It's the first time that Coleman has been a healthy scratch in his career.
For the season, Coleman has caught 32 balls for 330 yards and three touchdowns. Coleman had a breakout Week 1 with eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown in their comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens. Since then, Coleman's had only 24 receptions for 218 yards and two touchdowns.
This isn't totally uncharted territory for Coleman. He didn't play in the opening series in Week 5 against the New England Patriots. During his 2024 rookie season, the second-round draft pick sat on the bench in a game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars for not being on time.
Gabe Davis was moved up from the practice squad in place of Coleman, and Buffalo also signed receiver Mecole Hardman to the main roster from the practice squad.
