Every team’s 2025 NFL Draft picks post-trades, forfeitures, and compensatory adjustments

By default, each NFL team has one pick in every round of the seven-round NFL Draft. However, it rarely works out that way. Trades, forfeitures, and compensatory picks often shake things up, leaving some teams with more draft capital and others far less.

The Seattle Seahawks own the most picks in the first three rounds with five. They acquired an extra second-round selection by trading wide receiver D.K. Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and received an additional third-round pick in a move that saw quarterback Geno Smith join the Las Vegas Raiders.

With 11 picks, the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers have the most picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Both teams earned most of their additional selections via compensatory picks, which are awarded to teams to help them recover from the loss of valuable talent in free agency.

The 49ers held onto a share of the top spot for total draft picks, despite being one of only two teams—along with the Atlanta Falcons—to forfeit a selection.

The league docked San Francisco a fifth-round pick after discovering administrative payroll errors and ruled that Atlanta would forfeit their fifth-round pick due to a violation of the anti-tampering policy.

With just four total selections—and only two in the first four rounds—the Minnesota Vikings currently have the fewest picks and the lowest overall draft capital of any team in the league.
