How much does an ad cost during Super Bowl LIX?
With big audiences come big advertising dollars, and the Super Bowl consistently delivers the biggest audience of the year on American television.
Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, is expected to be no different, with over 100 million U.S. viewers set to tune into the NFL's championship game.

All of those eyeballs allow broadcasters to ask for millions for advertising spots during the event. Fox is the U.S. broadcaster in charge of the 2025 game, and the network has already raked in what it is calling "record pricing" for its ad inventory.
How much does a 30-second ad cost durring Super Bowl LIX?
Last year's Super Bowl broadcaster, CBS, sold 30-second ad slots for roughly $7 million each, according to USA Today.
With Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch reportedly telling investors in November that the ad inventory was completely sold out at “what we believe are record pricing,” it's fair to assume that 30-second slots were sold for at least $7 million each — if not more.
Of course, the air time is just one cost advertisers must bear as they must also produce the ads, often at a hefty cost as celebrities are often involved to help sell the product or service on offer.
