Safety Jevon Holland is the latest addition to the New York Giants' new-look secondary after reportedly signing a three-year, $45.3 million deal, including $30 million guaranteed.
The former Dolphins' star joins cornerback Paulso Adebo as the Giants' second defensive back signing in two days.
Holland will partner sophomore second-round safety Tyler Nubin in what could be a much-improved secondary, led by defensive coordinator Shane Bowen.
As a four-year starter in Miami, Holland earned a reputation as a ball hawk after compiling 27 passes defended and five interceptions.
Bowen and the Giants will rely on the 25-year-old to improve their fortunes after a disappointing 2024 season where their defense ranked 31st in passing completion percentage and managed only five interceptions.
Holland's signing is the fourth defensive player acquired by the Giants this offseason, following the signings of defensive linemen Chauncey Gholston and Roy Robertson-Harris.
