The NFL’s brightest and best were recognised on Thursday evening at the NFL Honors ceremony, which saw Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen win the NFL MVP award.

Allen pipped Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson to the evening's biggest prize after leading the Bills to a 13-4 regular season record, throwing for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns, plus 12 rushing scores and one touchdown catch.

The evening’s other notable winners saw Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley take home the Offensive Player of the Year award following his 2,000-yard season, while Denver Broncs cornerback Patrick Surtain II was named the Defensive Player of the Year.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels claimed the Offensive Rookie of the Year prize following his superlative rookie campaign, with LA Rams pass rusher Jared Verse taking home the Defensive Rookie honour.
