General admission tickets for Ireland’s first-ever NFL regular season game went on sale earlier today, and more than 650,000 fans jumped at the chance to be part of the historic moment.
The game kicks off on September 29, 2025, at Dublin’s Croke Park. The Pittsburgh Steelers, a team with deep Irish connections, were designated the home side and will take on the Minnesota Vikings in front of what will undoubtedly be a packed crowd.
Croke Park’s usual capacity of 82,300 will be reduced to about 76,000 for the NFL game due to limited visibility from specific seats caused by the crowded sidelines.
Additionally, Hill 16 and the Nally Terrace, which are typically standing areas, will be converted into seating for the game.
The fan experience won't be limited to what happens on the field. Henry Hodgson, General Manager of NFL UK and Ireland, has already hinted at major events and activities across Dublin.
“You’ll have a hard time escaping the fact the NFL’s in town that week. We’re working closely with Dublin City Council and the GAA to really take over the city.”
Fans who miss out on tickets today will have another opportunity, as seats in The Hill area will be released at a later date.
Those who have already secured admission couldn't hide their excitement about what's in store.
