Quarterback Will Howard warns teams ahead of 2025 NFL Draft: "I don't want you guys to miss out on me."

Ohio State quarterback Will Howard sent a strong message to NFL teams ahead of the 2025 Draft.

"Every single team that picks a quarterback in front of me - I'm going to make them regret not picking me"

Speaking on an episode of 'Hey Rookie Welcome to the NFL', he doubled down on his statement, adding, "draft me, or you'll regret it".

Howard's self-belief is well-earned after leading the Buckeyes to a National Championship in 2024, where he earned the CFP National Championship Offensive MVP award.

The 23-year-old's message carries the weight of past snubs after failing to receive an offer from other leading college programs.

"My whole career, I've been overlooked. I didn't have an offer from Pitt. I didn't have an offer from Syracuse. I didn't have an offer from Boston College, Penn State, Duke, Carolina.

"None of those schools offered me. I was trying for years".

Howard excelled at the NFL Combine, showing timing, touch, and impressive footwork on his throws.

While his impressive performance in Indianapolis may have helped his draft stock, player evaluators remain concerned about Howard's tendency to lock onto his initial read. Those reservations led NFL insider Lance Zierlen to predict Howard would still be on the board until the fourth or fifth rounds.

As a projected day-three pick in the draft, the Pennsylvania native would likely face an uphill climb to earn a starting role early in his NFL career. Still, the prospect of proving his doubters wrong is an opportunity Howard relishes.

While the odds are stacked against him, don't rule out the possibility that Howard could defy expectations and make an impact in the NFL.
