The National Football League will return to São Paulo, Brazil next season.

Following the success of the inaugural NFL Brazil game in 2024, which featured the eventual Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles against the Green Bay Packers, the league announced on Wednesday that another regular season game will be played at the Corinthians Arena.

The Week 1 game will feature the Los Angeles Chargers as the designated team.

“After a successful and memorable first game in Brazil in 2024, we are delighted to confirm the league’s return to São Paulo with the Los Angeles Chargers as the designated team in what will be an incredible next chapter in the market,” NFL Brazil general manager Luis Martinez said in a press release. “Alongside our partners — SPTuris, Mayor Nunes and the Corinthians — we will continue to make history together and look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience for passionate fans of the game once again in Brazil.”

The game, scheduled for Sept 5, will be the first of the NFL's 2025 International Games, which will see the league stage regular season contests in London, Berlin, Madrid and Dublin. The Chargers' opponent, along with kickoff time for the São Paulo game, will be announced at a later date.
