The Vince Lombardi trophy is the prize that the two teams in the Super Bowl battle it out for.
But the winning team is not just given a shiny new trophy to put on show at their stadium, each player on the winning team is given a Super Bowl ring.
But what is a Super Bowl ring? DAZN News explains.
A Super Bowl ring is a beautifully designed piece of jewellery which is given to each player on the team which won the Super Bowl as a memento of their individual achievement.
The designs of these rings vary each year and are tailored towards the winning team at the NFL's showpiece game.
Super Bowl rings are usually made of yellow or rose gold and encrusted with diamonds.
They often include the team name, logo, the title "World Champions" and the corresponding Super Bowl indicated as Roman numerals.
The rings can also be characterised with a specific player's name and jersey number.
The NFL contributes approximately $5,000 to $7,000 per ring for up to 150 rings, with the additional costs being paid for by the winning team.
The final cost usually comes to between $30,000 and $50,000 per ring.
