Mike Perry has promised that he and Jeremy Stephens will "make each other bleed" when they face off in the main event at BKFC 82 this weekend.

The former has emerged as the face of the bare-knuckle promotion and squares up to a fellow undefeated UFC fighter in a major bout in Newark.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN, Perry - who has not fought in any sport since a boxing bout with Jake Paul in July 2024 - promised to deliver on his King of Violence belt.

"We're going to make each other bleed," he said. "We're going to try to hurt each other, and I'm going to try to hurt him way worse than he can hurt me."

"Headlining the card, I have a sense of responsibility for myself to protect myself at all times, to be as brutal as possible. It is the entertainment business. I do try to excite.

"I do try to entice. I do try to have fun, crack jokes. And then it's proven time and time again, every time I get in the ring, I take some licks and I give some licks. I'm going to keep fighting as long as I can, no matter what.

"I look forward to shutting him down, putting my knuckles pressed up hard against his face, his cheekbones, his temples, and either making him quit or knocking him out cold, or we'll see what we're made of."

Elsewhere, Perry spoke about ensuring he is ready to overcome obstacles on his way to the next bout, and credits the close people in his life as key to his success.

"Sometimes, God throws challenges at you when you're preparing for all this," he added. "I got all my people in my circle. We've come up with a great schedule.

"We've been working consistently. I have little bluffs here and there about... I have other jobs, careers, details, endorsements, programs, all these other things that I do now.

"It's like with all this other work going on, working on myself has become a true delicacy.

"I just want to be my best self for me and for the people who love me and believe in me like I love and believe in them."

"People can watch my fights and be like, Mike is just tough, or Mike is just wild, or it's just the bare knuckle. They never could do what I do.

"You can't do it the way I do it. You can't do what I do. Half the time, a lot of people show support. I appreciate those people."

"Whether I'm a little stiff, whether you say I don't move my head or I need to put my hands up. Suck it because you ain't doing nothing but sitting at home, sucking that your damn self.

"You ain't doing nothing. Where's your name at? Where's your headlining card? Where's your main event? Where's your paycheck? Where's your bruises? Where's your punches? Where's your knockouts? Where's your highlights? I done gave so much to this."

"I do a podcast. They're always respectful on me. It’s very honorable, and I'm grateful for that. It It means a lot to me to showcase my skills and be my best possible self in the rain, outside of the rain, continuously grow, show my children how you need to conduct yourself

"When life throws challenges at you, man, it could be a good time. Buckle up your seatbelts.

"I need more. I keep the fire going. I got to keep it burning because I need more. I don't have enough. I've built this weight that I'm holding up, and I need to support it. I need to buy more support beings, and I need to add what I can, where I can."
