Anthony Joshua dismisses cake stunt and tells Daniel Dubois to keep his focus

Anthony Josuha was left unimpressed after seeing Daniel Dubois smash a cake with his face on it.

The IBF champion was presented with a cake bearing Joshua's picture to celebrate his 27th birthday, and he proceeded to punch the cake to try and intimidate his opponent on Saturday. 

However, when asked about the stunt, Joshua told Queensbury Promotions that Dubois should be concentrating on himself and not trying to show off for the cameras. 

"Yeah I saw, I saw," Joshua said. 

"It was funny but he should focus on himself, all that stuff is small distractions in my opinion. My team we don't do interviews, we keep our heads down. We don't indulge in, well not disrespect.

"But we don't put funny stuff about my opponents during fight week.

"None of my team goes online and talks about my opponent. We are respectful.

"That's why we are focusing on ourselves and continuing to be respectful to our opponents."
