Serie A kicks off 2026 with another massive weekend of action, in what is Europe's most exciting title race.
DAZN is showing 380 live games across the 2025-26 campaign, and matchday eighteen sees a returning hero to the New Balance Arena when Atalanta take on Roma.
That hero is former Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini, who makes a first return to the club since leaving in the summer, after a legacy as one of the club's greatest ever managers. In the near-decade in charge, Gasperini led the club to the Champions League and tasted European triumph with a Europa League win in 2024.
Now he's overseeing Roma's title challenge and won't let any nostalgic feelings get in the way as he looks to keep up pace with the division's top three.
The current Atalanta boss, Raffelle Palladino, is slowly turning the side's fortunes around, but a win over a former club great would be a real feather in his cap.
