Could we ever see Anthony Joshua enter the famed UFC octagon?

The two-time heavyweight champion kind of did recently as he did an Under Armour training session with UFC star lightweight Paddy Pimblett. During the session, Joshua and Pimblett touched on a variety of topics, including playing a game of Did You Say It?, covering themes of mental health, Joshua's former FIFA habits, and why scousers never get knocked out.

One topic that piqued 'The Baddy's' interest was advising Joshua on becoming a three-time heavyweight champion of the world.

“When anyone ever asks me for advice, the one thing I always say is, you’ve done this your whole life, hard work, dedication, and I always say listen to your coaches," Pimblett told Joshua.

Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) last fought in September 2024 when he got knocked out by Daniel Dubois in his quest to become a three-time heavyweight titlist. After trying to rehab his elbow, Joshua finally underwent elbow surgery a few months ago. 'AJ' is already back in training camp to prepare for his return to the ring, which is unknown at this time.

Pimblett (23-3) has yet to taste UFC gold but is on the verge of securing a title shot against current lightweight champion Ilia Topuria. He's on a nine-fight winning streak, including all seven of his UFC fights, with five of them coming via stoppage. Joshua gave sage advice to Pimblett on what it will take to wear UFC gold around his waist.

“You’ve got to walk that walk now, you can’t wait until a day before your fight and feel like I’m ready to switch on," Joshua told Pimblett.

“I’m on now, and I’m going to be on until the final bell. I’m not waiting until the first bell; I’m on today. That’s it, that’s what I’d say is just switch on now until that final bell. No matter how long it takes you to get there, walk with that championship mentality.”
