'The Surgeon' was seeking a statement performance at bp pulse LIVE as he made his Matchroom debut - and needed less than one round to make good on his promise.

Whittaker's one-two combo just over two minutes into the contest stunned and then floored his opponent, for the most impressive KO of his professional victory thus far.

Now, the star will head into 2026 on a high note in pursuit of further success and glory - and will hope that his rivals have woken up to his danger and potential too.
