Canelo Alvarez is "excited" to test his skills in a new country as the unified super middleweight champion faces IBF belt holder William Scull this weekend on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
The Mexico fighter, currently in possession of the WBA, WBC and WBO belts, heads to Saudi Arabia for his latest test as he bids two become a two-time undisputed king.
Scull, who inherited the IBF title from Canelo when he vacated it last year, arguably represents the toughest challenge in years for the star, as he makes new ground abroad.
The star seldom fights away from his home country and Las Vegas, but suggests the move to Riyadh for this bout offers a new opportunity for him to realise another dream.
"I'm very excited," he told DAZN. It's one of my dreams, fighting in another country, and now I'm close to it. It makes me feel excited and motivated.
"Here, in Riyadh, they treat me like I do at home, so I feel good. I feel the love. I have had two weeks here already. They treat me like a king.
"Sometimes it is different, but they treat me really good and I appreciate that. It's very important [to become undisputed again] because I want to be the first and only one."
Canelo, who recently welcomed a daugher to his family, admits that he also strives to keep them apart from his career, adding: "I think my personal life is apart from boxing.
"Boxing is my life professionally. My family is everything. I motivate myself, because I love boxing, but my family, I try to put them apart. They are special, very special."
